A Transition of Leadership

The Minnesota Lions Hearing Foundation is welcoming new District 5M8 board members as longtime leaders step into new roles. Lion Bev Dolezal and Lion Sheila Worm are joining the board to help carry forward the Foundation's life-changing work.

Thank You, Mike Appel

We extend deep gratitude to PDG Mike Appel, who is retiring from the Foundation board after six years of dedicated service. His steady leadership shaped programs that continue to help thousands of Minnesotans hear better.

Bob Harms Transitions

Lion Bob Harms also transitions off the board this year. His fingerprints are on nearly every major Foundation initiative of the last decade — from grant programs to community outreach.

Meet Lion Bev Dolezal

Bev is a longtime District 5M8 Lion known across her zone for her tireless service. She brings a background in community engagement and a passion for making sure hearing services reach every corner of Minnesota.

Meet Lion Sheila Worm

Sheila brings organizational experience and a heart for volunteer leadership. Her focus areas include expanding awareness of Foundation programs and strengthening partnerships with local clubs.

The Future of the Foundation

With new leadership stepping in and momentum from the CATSS mobile clinic launch, the Foundation is well-positioned to expand its reach across Minnesota in the year ahead.
