Leadership, Experience, Opportunity
Leo Clubs
Leos are young people who serve their communities alongside Lions. Leo clubs build leaders, friendships, and real-world experience, one service project at a time.

For young people
Being a Leo is more than volunteering. It's a chance to grow as a person and a leader with friends who care about the same things you do.
- Plan and lead service projects that matter in your community
- Build leadership skills by serving as a club officer
- Make friends locally and connect with Leos around the world
- Learn from Lions mentors with decades of service experience
For parents and schools
A Leo club is a youth service club sponsored by a local Lions club, often based at a school or in the community. Every Leo club has an adult Leo Club Advisor, and Lions mentor members along the way.
- A safe, supervised way for students to give back
- Volunteer hours and leadership roles for college and resumes
- Teamwork, planning, and public speaking experience
- A connection to a trusted, worldwide service organization
For Lions clubs: start a Leo club
Sponsoring a Leo club lets your Lions mentor and empower young leaders and build a lasting commitment to service. It also brings fresh energy and ideas to your own club.
Developing leaders
Leos can serve as officers in their club, district, and multiple district through annual elections. They can also attend Leo Advancement Sessions, take online courses in the Lions Learning Center through Lion Portal, and share ideas through the Leo Club Advisory Panel.
